2025 Is Off to a Great Start!
2025 kicked off early for our family—literally. On January 1st, my wife and I packed up our younger kids and a few of their friends and headed west of St. Augustine to spend the day exploring Florida’s famous hot springs.
Florida is home to over 1,000 springs, and several are located near our Ocala and Citrus Springs markets. We visited three incredible springs, including Silver Springs, known for its crystal-clear waters, hundreds of manatees, exotic fish, and even a few otters and gators. Fun fact: Silver Springs also has a wild monkey population that dates back nearly a century!
The best part? Despite the crowds starting their New Year the same way, the open space made it feel peaceful. There were no long Disney-like lines or grumpy faces—just smiles and relaxation. And the price for this unforgettable experience? A mere $6. That covered our entire gang filling up our oversized SUV.
A Reminder of Simple Joys
As much as I love luxurious vacations, this trip reminded me that incredible family experiences don’t have to come with a hefty price tag. Sometimes, the best adventures are right in your backyard.
Driving home exhausted but happy, I couldn’t help but feel energized for 2025. Many of our most affordable building projects are just minutes from these incredible springs. These are experiences anyone can enjoy—including your tenants.
Affordability Will Lead the Way
This year, affordability is key. While overpriced markets like Orlando, Tampa, and Miami may face challenges, affordable workforce housing in desirable areas is poised to win big. We’ve been working tirelessly to provide tools, resources, and opportunities to help you succeed, whether you’re starting small or growing your portfolio.
Let’s Make 2025 Unforgettable
This isn’t just about passive income or building wealth. It’s about redefining what freedom and family life can look like for generations to come. Together, we can make 2025 a year of meaningful progress and unforgettable moments.
Here’s to success, fulfillment, and the things that matter most: family, time, and the adventure of life.
Cheers to new beginnings,
Jim Sheils
